Victor R. Zidell

Victor R. Zidell of Kalamazoo passed away Monday, March 23, 2020 at Friendship Village. Victor was born September 9, 1924 in Kalamazoo the son of John and Mary (Slowinski) Zidell. He was a WW II veteran serving in the U.S. Navy. Victor retired from James River Paper as the plant superintendent and was a member of St. Augustine Cathedral. In December, 1970 Victor was united in marriage to the former Lorraine Robarge who preceded him in death on May 9, 2013. Also preceding him was a son, Vaughn Zidell; daughter, Vicki Zidell; brother, Fred Zidell; two sisters, Helen Coleman, Mildred Wolthuis. He is survived by four grandchildren; several nieces & nephews. Private services will be held. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Arrangements by Redmond Funeral Home, 4100 S.
