Timothy E. Dent

Timothy E. Dent of Oshtemo Township,MI  died July 9, 2018. He was born in Vicksburg, MI on July 24, 1954 the son of Gerald and Jane M.(Bone) Dent. He was a union sheet metal worker at Suburban Mechanical. Tim loved his Harley Davidson Motorcycle, fireworks, and golfing. Halloween was his favorite holiday. The world changed for Tim on September 11, 2004 when granddaughter Maddie was born. He was preceded in death by 2 sons: Ryan Christopher on Jan. 15, 1978 and Ryan Andrew on Dec. 5, 1996, father: Gerald E. Dent on Sept. 10, 2010. Tim is survived by his wife: Patricia Dent whom he married May 15, 1976 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, daughter Chrissy (Jeffrey) Dent, granddaughter: Maddie Dent all of Tomball, TX, His beloved dog:Gus. Also surviving are 2 brothers: Terry (Paula Meier) Dent of Kalamazoo and Ted (Stacy) Dent of Vicksburg, Several Nieces & Nephews. Friends will be received Friday July 13, 2018 from 6 - 8 pm at Redmond Funeral Home, 4100 S. Westnedge Ave. Kalamazoo, MI 49008 (269) 343-6156. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday July 14, 2018 at 12 Noon, Rev. Msgr Michael Hazard Celebrant. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
