Thomas Perry Ambs

Thomas P. Ambs 58 of Kalamazoo passed away Sunday August 29, 2021 at Ascension Borgess Hospital. Tom was born October 6, 1962 in Kalamazoo the son of Gary and Beverly (Chapman) Ambs. He was a 26 year veteran of the U.S. Navy and was a commercial flooring installer. Tom enjoyed flea markets, air shows, renaissance festivals and spending time with family. On May 21, 1983 Tom was united in marriage to the former Tracy Green who survives. Also surviving are two children, Carisa Ambs, Joel (Kristen) Ambs; two brothers, Lowell (Denise) Ambs, Dave (Shelly) Kievit; two sisters, Linda Kievit, Juanita Ambs; six grandchildren, Lorna, Guen, Lee, Jacoby, Klare, Kahara; several nieces & nephews. Friends will be received Tuesday September 7, 2021 2-4 & 6-8 pm at Parchment Redmond Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to America Diabetes Association. www.redmondfuneralhomes.net
