Stephen D. Hutson

On January 11, 2024 Steve passed away at home surrounded by his family. Steve was born in Dowagiac, MI, on December 23, 1964.  He is the son of Douglas and Paulette (Roberts) Hutson.  He is a Veteran of the U.S. Army and spent his career as an insurance agent. Steve is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Melanie Hutson.  He is survived by his stepmother, Linda Hutson; his beloved wife, Sheri, whom he married March 23, 2018; his adored children, Bryant (Cynthia) Hutson of Marcellus, MI, Christian (Katie) Hutson of Paw Paw, MI, and Aleyna (Derek) Gribler of Lawrence, MI; his stepchildren, Meghan Hallmark of Battle Creek, MI, Ryan (Cristal) Harrington of Dayton, OH, Taylor (Trevor) Root of Kalamazoo, MI, and Sara Alexander of Portage, MI; his grandchildren, Simon, Braxton, and Tucker; his admired nephew Nic (Shantel) Palmer of Three Rivers, and several other nieces and nephews, as well as aunt and uncle.  Steve will be remembered for his love of all things Notre Dame, the White Sox, going to the gym, working on his lawn, chatting with friends, spending time by the pool, his immense love and dedication to his family, and above all else, his incredible strength and determination. 
A celebration of Steve's life will be planned for a future date.
