Sondra Gail Joyce

Passed away September 11, 2023 at Bronson Hospital.  Sondra was born in Atlanta, GA on July 29, 1936 the daughter of Waldo and Mae (Streely) Johnson.  She retired from WMU as a secretary.  She was preceded in death by 3 brothers: Kenneth, Harry, and Lloyd and 2 sisters: Barbara Johnson and Sharon Carpenter.  She was also preceded in death by her husband Alfred Joyce in 2002.  Sondra is survived by her daughter, Rhonda (Larry) Belen of Kalamazoo, 4 grandchildren: Jason, Ryan and Nathan Belen and Emilee Mogan, 10 great-grandchildren,  many nieces & nephews.  Cremation has taken place.  Burial of cremains will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Lawton.
