Shelby Jean Hatfield

Shelby J. Hatfield of Cooper Twp. passed away Wednesday January 16, 2019 at Rose Arbor Hospice. Shelby was born July 24, 1942 in Kalamazoo the daughter of Emanuel and Ruth (Nadwornik) Rinehart. She worked for K-Mart then retired from Parchment Harding’s. Shelby enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and being outdoors especially gardening and going to the beach. On December 7, 1959 in Kalamazoo Shelby was united in marriage to George Hatfield who preceded her in death on November 13, 2005. Also preceding her were two half-brothers, Steve and Sydney Maxwell; sister, Carolyn Vincent. Surviving are four children, Robin Davis of Kalamazoo, Rick Hatfield of Kalamazoo, Carla (Mike) Lemon of Bloomindale, Randy (Michelle) Hatfield of Charleston, SC; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several nieces & nephews. Friends will be received 11am – 1pm Monday January 21, 2019 at Parchment Redmond Funeral Home, 2300 East "G" Ave. Parchment, MI 49004 (269) 349-7735 where services will follow at 1 pm.
