Sharon Ann Bartholomew

Sharon A. Bartholomew passed away Saturday July 28, 2018 at Borgess Medical Center with family in attendance at her bedside.  Sharon was born August 19, 1936 in Evansville, IN; the daughter of George and Ruth (Staley) Rohr. On January 12, 1957 in Kalamazoo, MI Sharon was united in marriage to David L. Bartholomew who survives. Also surviving are four children, David Bartholomew, Jr. of Plainwell, Christine Huot of Battle Creek, Lisa Dearth of University Place, WA, Robert Bartholomew of Kalamazoo; three brothers, Charles Rohr of Holland, G.W. “Bill” Rohr of Kalamazoo, Michael Rohr of Kalamazoo; two sisters, Mary Laughlin of Gobles, Carole Rohr of Berne, IN; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother David Rohr. Friends will be received 6:30 – 8:30 pm Monday August 6, 2018 at Redmond Funeral Home, 4100 S. Westnedge Ave. Kalamazoo, MI 49008 (269) 343-6156 where a scripture services will be held at 7:30 pm and Office of the Dead at 8 pm led by the Deacon community. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 am Tuesday August 7, 2018 at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Parchment. Entombment will be in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery.
