Ron (Bud) Hardin passed away Friday December 11, 2020 due to complications from Covid-19. Ron was born April 15, 1953 in Leesburg, FL the son of Edward and Sarah (Shelton) Hardin. Ron retired after 30 years from Alro Steel as a truck driver; after retiring he started Precision Metals Plus with a partner. Ron was active in wrestling and football in the Galesburg community; he even coached flag football. Ron was a musician his entire life, he was lead singer and played the guitar in Hang ‘em High and Intruder and filled in over many years with many different bands. He also had a music room at home where he liked to make videos for his family and friends to enjoy. He had many video’s he shard on YouTube and Facebook. He enjoyed riding his Harley, fishing with family and enjoying the pontoon, water and sun. Ron enjoyed estate sale, flea markets and loved to get a good deal. Ron was a devoted husband, son, brother, and father. He was the best papa to his children, grandchildren and numerous others. He was preceded in death by his parents, his son Ron J. Hardin and a sister Charlotte Diane Underwood. Ron is survived by his wife Crystal “Polley” Hardin and they have enjoyed 21 loving years together. Nine children, Deanna Hardin, TJ White, Desiree Polley, Marlon Polley, Gage Hardin, Auddie Terry, Aubrey Terry, Jacy Hardin and Cameryn Againeses. Six grandchildren, Christopher and Snow Smith, Arabella Bates, Tyler, Trenton and Roza White. Four siblings, Al (Kellie) Hardin, Synthia Rose, Tammy Creech, Regina Stanfill. Family and friends will gather on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at 1 pm at Church of God Family Worship Center, 5841 East H Avenue Kalamazoo, MI 49048, where the service will also be streamed at the church website, https://kzoofwc.com/.
