Ronald G. Fitzpatrick

Ronald G. Fitzpatrick of Portage passed away Friday May 5, 2017 at home. Ronald was born January 29, 1932 in Kalamazoo the son of William and Bertha (Gay) Fitzpatrick. He was a Korean War veteran serving in the U.S. Army then in the Naval Reserve. Ronald retired from Consumers Energy in Kalamazoo. He was preceded in death by his wife Pallie Fitzpatrick on January 24, 2011 and two sisters, Helen and Willa. Surviving are three children; Larry Fitzpatrick of Kalamazoo, Tim Fitzpatrick of Portage, Teresa Proxmire  of Portage; nine grandchildren, Patty, Kevin, Ashlie, Brea, Baily, Brandon, Brandie, Brock and Blake; four great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held 1pm Tuesday May 16, 2017 at Ft. Custer National Cemetery. Arrangements by Redmond Funeral Home, 4100 S.
