Robert J. Kruska

Robert J. Kruska 74 of Richland Township passed away Friday October 21, 2022 at Ascension Borgess Place. Robert was born January 21, 1948 in Muskegon the son of Harry and Josephine (Goresch) Kruska. He was a graduate of Western Michigan University and taught at Galesburg-Augusta Middle School and High School. He was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church where he was active in serving in their funeral luncheon ministry and he enjoyed fishing, traveling by cruise and spending time at Fife Lake and the Traverse City area. On August 19, 1972 in Marne, MI Robert was united in marriage to the former Mary E. Koster who survives. Also surviving are two children, Elizabeth (Wesley Lawrence) Kruska, James (Gyunghee) Kruska; grandson, Henry Kruska; brother, Michael Kruska; two sisters, Ann (James) Wirtz, Cathy Salacina; sister-in-law, Rosemary Michalski; several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Walter Michalski; sister, Ruth Percy; brother-in-law, Gary Salacina. Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army.
