Raymond Lee Moore

Raymond L. Moore of Gobles formerly of Kalamazoo passed away Sunday July 29, 2018 at home. Raymond was born July 2, 1941 in Baptist, KY the son of Roscoe and Haley (Brewer) Moore. He was formerly employed by James River Paper Co then he was a truck driver for many years. Raymond enjoyed racing, working on cars and motorcycles and built a motorcycle. On July 6, 1959 in Middlesboro, KY Raymond was united in marriage to the former Loretha Jean Hatfiled who preceded him in death on February 17, 2015. Also preceding him in death are a son Michael Moore; grandson, Kevin Moore; sister, Josephine Esman. Surviving are a son Steven (Linda) Moore; five grandchildren, Carmon, Richard, Jessie, Steven; two great-grandchildren, Caitlyn, Connor; three brothers, John Moore, Ezekiel Moore, Bill Moore; two sisters, Magleen Phelps, Susie Eldred; many nieces and nephews. Friends are being received 12 – 1 pm Friday August 3, 2018 at Parchment Redmond Funeral Home, 2300 East “G” Ave. Parchment, MI 49004 (269) 349-7735 where services will be held at 1 pm.
