Paul Francis Bresnahan

Passed away suddenly Tuesday July 4, 2017 at home. Paul was born June 24, 1960 in Chicago, IL the son of John P. “Jack”  Bresnahan and the late Claire Marie (Rutz) Bresnahan. Paul was a graduate of Portage Northern High School. He was a long time employee of Arvco Container Corp in Kalamazoo. Surviving are his father, John P. Bresnahan Sr.; siblings, Margaret “Peggy” Bresnahan, Lawrence (Nachi) Bresnahan, Mary (Scott) McBurney, John (Carla) Bresnahan, Jr., Thomas (Deborah) Bresnahan; nieces & nephews, Brendan & Jennifer Bresnahan, Ryan (Cari) McBurney, Sean McBurney, Connor, Giuliana & Gabriel Bresnahan, Austin & Megan Bresnahan; grand nephews,  Aidan and Preston McBurney. Paul was a devoted son, brother, and uncle. A kind and gentle man and always willing to help people.  Paul valued time spent with his family, especially his nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Paul’s name may be made to Misericordia Heart of Mercy in care of the funeral home. Friends will be received 2-4 & 6-8 pm Friday July 7, 2017 at Redmond Funeral Home, Kalamazoo where a Rosary will be recited at 7:30 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 am Saturday at St. Monica Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Lawrence Farrell, Celebrant. Interment will be in Mt.
