Patrick John Peters

April 7, 1959 — September 15, 2021

Peters, Patrick Kalamazoo Passed away September 15, 2021. Patrick was born in Watervliet, Michigan on April 7, 1959, the son of Neil W. and Phyllis L. (Bultema) Peters. Patrick was the Service Manager at Neil's Automotive Service. He graduated from Culver Military Academy in 1977, where he still holds the school records for indoor and outdoor high jump. He was a big Notre Dame fan and loved golfing with friends, playing darts, and cooking for others. Patrick was a kind and generous man; he never met anyone who didn’t become a friend. He loved spending time on the lake, chatting with neighbors, and relaxing with his dog. Patrick cherished his family and will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Linda Dalrymple, and a brother, Neil W. Peters III. Patrick is survived by his wife Shannon, whom he married Sept. 8, 2006; stepchildren Brian and Justin Clark; sisters Stephanie Peters and Denise (Jeff) Brennan; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Saturday, Sept. 25, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. The memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Pastor Randy Doyle officiating. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
