Nancy Kay Westdorp-Hill

Nancy Kay Hill - Westdorp, 70, of Parchment, passed away Friday July 26, 2024. She was born December 9, 1953 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Martin Westdorp and Martha (Hofstra) Westdorp.

Nancy was very generous and hardworking. For the last several years, she selflessly looked after her mother, making sure she was able to remain living on her own. She cherished times spent with her family and her friends. She also enjoyed her high school class reunions and helping with the preparation of the food. In recent years, Nancy volunteered at the Legacy Thrift Shop in Portage. She had many hobbies and interests that included gardening, hot air balloons, camping, and a love for cats. Nancy loved Jeeps and enjoyed driving one most of her life. She was very competitive with sports and focused on bowling and softball. She always followed auto racing and most recently enjoyed watching her nephew race at the Kalamazoo Speedway.

On August 12, 2016, Nancy was united in marriage to William Hill who survives. She is also survived by her mother, Martha (Hofstra) Westdorp, three brothers, Bob (Paula) Westdorp, Tom (Marjorie) Westdorp and Mike (Amy) Westdorp; along with many nieces and nephews. Nancy was preceded in death by her father, Martin Westdorp.

Family and friends are invited to visit Saturday, August 3, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at Adams Redmond Parchment Funeral Home, 2300 East G Ave., Parchment. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Charlie Post officiating. Private burial will take place at East Cooper Cemetery.
