Michael Lee Gates, Jr.

Passed away November 11, 2021. Mike was born in Kalamazoo on July 26, 1974. He was a Service Technician at Hydro-Chem Systems Inc. Mike enjoyed riding his motorcycle, tinkering with his son, and remodeling his home. He was preceded in death by his parents Michael L Sr, Dorothy Jane (Gentry) Gates and Gary Kamrowski. Mike is survived by His grandmother Rita Sparks of Galesburg; His mother Judy (Gentry-Kamrowski) Zerba; His fiancé Renee Jourdan; His children: Bryan Noel of Galesburg, Maggie Noel and Michael L. Gates III both of Plainwell; His siblings: Gary (Michelle) Kamrowski of Rothbury, David Gates of Galesburg, Trisha (Jeremiah) Fick of Wixom and Robert (Katie) Gates of Delton, and many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, November 20th at The Lynx Golf Course from 1pm-4pm. The golf course is located at 900 Lincoln Rd, Otsego. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a Gofundme account established to assist the family with financial needs as they transition through this time.
