Melonie Gayle Rousch, devoted wife, mother and grandmother, passed away August 30, 2024, at Bronson Hospital. She was born September 9, 1973, in Kalamazoo, daughter to Robert Bowlby and Vickie (Walker) Neale.
Mel will be remembered for her huge heart and welcoming everyone. She loved her dogs and listening to music, but her true love was caring for her grandson, Wyatte. Mel was a loyal, vibrant and a true friend to all who knew her and her passing will leave an impact on many hearts.
She is survived by her husband James Rousch, whom she married March 20, 2004, in Las Vegas. She is also survived by her grandson Wyatte, her mother, Vickie Neale, two daughters, Britany (Darren) Hensley and Leigha Lambert, one son, Dakota (Gabby) Lambert, step son, Jared (Kienna) Rousch, six grandchildren, Emma, Remmington, Autumn, Lola, Sophia and Hudson, three brothers, Bobby and James (Kristen) Bowlby and Donnie Rodgers, one sister, Kris. She is also survived by her two brothers in law, Brady (Sarah) and Andrew Rousch, her aunts, Donna and Nancy Walker, along with many cousins, nieces and nephews. Mel also leaves many close friends including Jim Sittig, Kathy DeLoach, Sarah Maxam, Chuck Hough and Mary Carter. Mel was preceded in death by her father, Robert Bowlby and her grandparents, James and Dorine Walker.
There will be a memorial service to honor and celebrate Mel’s life on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Adams - Redmond - Parchment Funeral Home, 2300 E. G Ave., Parchment, MI.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made at Advia Credit Union to an account set up for Wyatte James Lambert.
