Mary Burke

Mary Agnes Burke, 90, of Kalamazoo, passed away Monday, April 8, 2024 at home. 

Mary was born September 8, 1933 in Milwaukee, WI, the daughter of George and Dorothy (Haessly) Kenealy. 

Mary was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She enjoyed reading, gardening, and spending time with her family. Mary was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. 

On June 28, 1952, in Milwaukee, WI she married Wayne Edward Burke, who preceded her in death, on December 9, 2009. Mary was also preceded in death by two sons, David and Timothy Burke. 

Mary is survived by her son Michael G (Eileen) Burke of Plainwell; two grandchildren, Michael Burke of Plainwell, Matthew Burke of Kalamazoo; daughter-in-law, Patricia Burke of Three Rivers. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 am Friday May 10, 2024 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will follow at 3 pm in Ft. Custer National Cemetery.
