Maria E. Mills

Maria E. Mills of Asheboro, NC formerly of Kalamazoo, MI passed away Tuesday January 7, 2020 at Randolph Hospice House. Maria was born November 11, 1934 in Las Cruces, NM the daughter of Fidel and Angelita (Eres) Marrujo. She retired as a press operator for Checker Motors and was a member of Temple Baptist Church. ON January 13, 1953 in New Mexico Maria was united in marriage to Richard Mills who preceded her in death on January 3, 2003. Also preceding her in death were a son, Allen Mills in 2019; two brothers and two sisters. Surviving are a son, Daniel (Anne) Mills of Kalamazoo; two brothers; four sisters; two grandchildren, Angie and Jason; five great-grandchildren; several nieces & nephews. Friends will be received 5-7 pm Monday January 13, 2020 at Parchment Redmond Funeral Home. Services will be held 12:30 pm Tuesday at Temple Baptist Church. Interment will be in Ft. Custer National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Temple Baptist Church or Wounded Warrior Project. www.redmondfuneralhomes.net
