Margene Ella Guenther

Margene Ella Guenther 97 of Kalamazoo, Michigan, passed away Friday, November 24, 2023, at North Woods Village of Kalamazoo, Michigan. Margene was born April 20, 1926, in Hastings, Michigan, and was the daughter of Stuart and Audrey (Demaray) Kussmaul. Margene worked as a cost accountant for KVP Paper Mill and was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Parchment, Michigan, where she was an active volunteer. Margene enjoyed playing bridge and was an avid reader. She was a loving mother and grandmother who loved spending summers out at the pool. On June 25, 1955, in Woodland, Michigan, Margene was united in marriage with Charles Guenther who preceded her in death on March 16, 2013. Also preceding her in death was her brother, R.J. Kussmaul. Surviving are four daughters, Suann (Gordon) Squires, Janae (Martin) Niecko, Pamala (Thomas) Hamilton, and Amy (Daniel) Wytko; 8  grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; several nieces & nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 am Thursday December 21, 2023, at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Parchment, Michigan. Interment will be in Ft.
