Margaret Johnson

Margaret Johnson, 88 of Kalamazoo Michigan, passed away on May 27, 2020 in Borgess Medical Center. Margaret was born in Kalamazoo to Donald and Evelyn O’Brien on March 30 1932. She was united in marriage to Noel Johnson. She was a loving mother, grandmother and enjoyed knitting, gardening, spending time with her friends, especially her dear friend Gladys, and was a member of St. Margaret Catholic Church of Otsego. She had also been a member of the Ladies Library Association and Catholic Daughters of America Margaret is survived by her 6 children: Mary (Jeff) Paschke of Medina, Ohio, Patricia Johnson of Plant City, Florida, David (Patty) Johnson of Portage, Michigan, Evelyn (Don) Florinchi of Plant City, Florida, Dan (Mickie) Potter of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Mark (Marie) Johnson of Kalamazoo, Michigan; her brothers: Michael (Yvonne) O’Brien, Robert (Gee) O’Brien, and Kermit (Dennis Yike) O’Brien; her sister Phyllis Bogren and sister-in-law Eileen O’Brien; nineteen grandchildren, thirty four great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Noel Johnson, her daughter Martha Potter, and her brothers Roderick O’Brien and William O'Brien. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated 10:30 AM Tuesday August 4, 2020 at St. Margaret Catholic Church, Otsego, MI. Interment will be in St. Margaret Catholic Cemetery.
