On Tuesday, November 22, 2022 Marc went to bed and woke up in Heaven. Marc was born on April 20, 1986 in Muyinga, Burundi, Africa, the son of Roger and Josée(Nkusi) Germay. He was a graduate of Hackett Catholic Central High School. From an early age, Marc was fascinated with driving and loved helping people. He got to live his dream as a taxi driver and as a non-emergency transport personnel. He was currently employed with Life EMS. It was impossible to be Marc’s friend without knowing about his passions for snow, HOT n NOW, Plymouth Horizon, vans, smooth jazz, 90s sitcoms and buffet restaurants! Marc was a gentle soul with a deep love for his Lord, and for the past 15 months, an unconditional love for his soulmate, Heather.. He had a quirky sense of humor which was at the same time exaggerated and really caring for the person he interacted with. His unmistakable laugh will be missed by all who have ever heard it. He was preceded in death by his uncle Louis in 2012 and his mother Josée on June 3, 2017 . Marc is survived by his fiancée Heather Lynn Martinie, father Roger Germay, brothers: Frédéric Germay and Patric (Jamie) Germay, his uncles: Joseph (Linda) Germay and Alphonse (Charlotte) Nkusi, his aunt Brenda (Ray) Germay, his godmother Betsy Lawrence, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
