Lois E. Burlingham

Lois E. Burlingham, 85, of Kalamazoo, passed away Sunday, October 6, 2024, at the Laurels of Galesburg. Lois was born April 18, 1939, in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Fred and Lena (Blodgette) Mastin. Lois was united in marriage to Donald C. Burlingham who preceded her in death on February 12, 1999. She was employed by and retired from Parchment Public Schools as a custodian and lunchroom aide. Lois enjoyed being with her family, she enjoyed people-watching, bowling, and collecting stuffed animals and figurines.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Donald, her son Timothy Burlingham, and her brother, Robert Mastin. Lois is survived by two sons, Carl (Nicole Hayward) Burlingham and Donald (Elizabeth) Burlingham, her sister Luci Burlingham, 5 nephews; Hank Burlingham Jr, Dave Burlingham, Rick (Andrea) Burlingham Todd Burlingham, Chip (Wendy) Burlingham. Nine Grandchildren; Jesse Carter, Brittany Burlingham, Tyler Burlingham, Bridget (Jon) Sehmer, Lorinda Dally, Steven Burlingham, Tori Hayward, Travis Hayward, Timithy Lock. 4 great grandchildren; Taya Rose Dally, Natais Lambert, Jaela Lambert, Keagen Lyon. She had several great nieces and nephews,

A graveside service will be held Friday, October 18, 2024, at 2:00pm at Fort Custer National Cemetery, 15501 Dickman Road, Augusta, MI 49012. Those attending should arrive at the assembly area at Fort Custer by 1:45 PM. Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or a charity of your choice.
