Lisa Kaye Dziewicki

March 19, 1962 — March 10, 2021

Lisa Kaye Dziewicki passed away at home, March 10, 2021. Lisa was born in Kalamazoo on March 19, 1962, the daughter of Arnold and Phyllis (Kuhn) VanDyk. She graduated from Parchment High School and took her basketball efforts to KVCC. After graduation, she worked at her father’s (eventually Dr. David Brown D.D.S.) dental practice, where she enjoyed and loved all of her interactions and conversations she had with members of the community. Lisa spent a lot of time in the sun and fresh air. It didn’t matter the temperature. If the sun was shining, she would love to sit outside, take a deep breath, and enjoy the warmth on her skin. Lisa was a selfless, caring, and beautiful person. She made a house a home - giving endless amounts of love and care for anyone who was around. Lisa brought around a lot of happiness; she had the most charismatic smile and a giggle that would end in tears of laughter. Lisa’s light will shine through the many lives she has touched every day. Lisa, mom, grandma, sister, aunt, friend, neighbor, you will be forever missed. Lisa was preceded in death by her father, Arnold, and brother Joe VanDyk. Lisa is survived by her children: Brent (Kendra) Dziewicki and Taylor [Brendan] Dziewicki, her stepchildren: Molly, Matt (Kate), and Mark Dziewicki, her siblings: Thomas (Mae) VanDyk, and sister-in-law Brenda VanDyk, several nieces & nephews, and very special friends who she called family. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. Memorial tributes may be made to the American Heart Association or a charity of your choice. Arrangements by Parchment Redmond Funeral Home. www.redmondfuneralhomes.net
