Leroy J. Cobb

Leroy J. Cobb passed away Wednesday December 18, 2019 at home. Leroy was born March 10, 1930 in Hamilton the son of Lloyd and Hilda (Knoll) Cobb. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Korean War. Leroy retired from IHS Distributing. He was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church, and the VFW, he enjoyed photography, traveling, hunting, and bowling. On August 4, 1956 in Grand Rapids Leroy was united in marriage to the former Barbara J. Betka who survives. Also surviving are five children, Cindy (Bruce) Bosier of Richland, Jeffrey (Emily) Cobb of Byron Center, MI, Theresa (Bud) Needham of Springfield, MI, James (Beverley) Cobb of Norwich, ND, Kevin (Marjorie) Cobb of Oklahoma City, OK; sister, Carole Crumback of Johannesburg, MI; 18 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews & cousins. He was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Paul Cobb; sister, Mary Lou Cobb. Friends will be received 5-7 pm Thursday December 26, 2019 at Parchment Redmond Funeral Home, 2300 East "G" Ave. Parchment, MI 49004 (269) 349-7735 where a Rosary will be recited at 7 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 am Friday at St. Ambrose Catholic Church. Interment will be in Ft. Custer National Cemetery.
