Laura Sue Rugg

Laura Sue Rugg 52 of Otsego passed away Monday February 20, 2023 at home. Laura was born October 30, 1970 in Kalamazoo the daughter of Franklin and Linda (Perkins) Davis. She was a foster parent and worked as a waitress at Callahan’s, the Lamplighter Lounge and a manager of I-Hop Restaurant. Laura enjoyed scrapbooking and especially spending time with her granddaughter. On November 19, 1995 in Kalamazoo Laura was united in marriage to Jeff Rugg who survives. Also surviving are four children, Brad Davis, Ashley Yoder, Mike Shepherd, Jr, Tiffany Shepherd; granddaughter, Brooklyn Rugg; father, Franklin Davis; mother, Linda Perkins; three brothers,  John (Jennifer Lee) Call, Franklin Davis, Michael (Bernice Delagrande) Connelly, II;  two sisters, Jessica (John) Gonzalez, Teresa Perkins-Winner; several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Shinley Davis. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Redmond Funeral Home, Kalamazoo. www.redmondfuneralhomes.net
