LaNae Ann Bohr

LaNae Ann Bohr of Kalamazoo passed away on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at Rose Arbor Hospice. LaNae was born June 4, 1963 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Donald and Patricia (Hassan) Born. She graduated from Gull Lake High School and Argubright Business College. LaNae worked for National City Bank, Allen Test Products and then for Plante Moran as an executive assistant, before enjoying many years as a stay-at-home mom. She enjoyed interior decorating, gardening, event planning and participating in her dinner club. She was strong in her Christian faith and led many prayer groups over the years. On March 10, 1995 LaNae was united in marriage to Andrew Bohr at St Joseph Catholic Church, who survives. Also surviving are a son Alex (Renée) Bohr; two sisters, Dawn (Bob) McConachie, Brenda (Jack) Case; and several nieces & nephews. Friends will be received 6-8 pm Thursday August 24, 2023 at Redmond Funeral Home where a Rosary will be recited at 7 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 am Friday at St. Monica Catholic Church, with a luncheon to follow at Redmond Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Cedar Creek Cemetery in Dowling, MI. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Monica School or the Gull Lake Community Schools Foundation. www.redmondfuneralhomes.net
