Kenneth Michael Telesko Sr.

Kenneth M. Telesko Sr. 84 of Kalamazoo, passed away Saturday February 17, 2024 at Kauhale Assisted Living Facility, Otsego. Kenneth was born January 19, 1940 in McKeesport, PA the son of Michael and Margaret (Yurchison) Telesko.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served at Ft Eustis, Virginia and also as a Reservist.  He earned his Marksmanship Medal for the M-1 rifle.  On October 14, 1961 in McKeesport, Kenneth was united in marriage to Lois (Traeger) Telesko, who preceded him in death.  The family moved from Pennsylvania to Kalamazoo for his work.  He retired from General Motors as a Tool & Diemaker.  Kenneth was an avid gardener, and always kept his flowers and lawn immaculate.  He was a devoted father and grandfather, and loved spending time with his family.  Kenneth was also preceded in death by his sister Margaret Adzija and granddaughter Samantha Telesko.  He is survived by three children, Kenneth (Annette) Telesko, Deborah (John) Peter, Dana (Michael) Makowski; 11 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; several nieces & nephews.  Private family services will be held at Redmond Funeral Home, Kalamazoo.
