Johnnie Glenn Dyer

John G. Dyer 69 of Lawton passed away Sunday July 3, 2022 at home. John was born October 25, 1952 in Allegan the son of Ernest and Dora (Burgen) Dyer. He retired from Sapa (Hydro) and loved watching baseball especially the Detroit Tigers and football, working on cars and his scooter, gardening and spending time with his family. On May 2, 1986 in Paw Paw John was united in marriage to the former Terry Curtis who survives. Also surviving are four children, Dora (Brian) Abbott, Daniell DeLano, Jonni Dyer, Robin (Shawn) Sweet; step-daughter, Jessica Pierce; three brothers, Jim (Pat) Dyer, David (Jane) Dyer, Rick (Tracy) Burgen; four sister, Julie McDonald, Rosie Robinson, Paula Brown, Diane Day; 13 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter, Courtney DeLano; sister, Sue Braun. Friends will be received 11am – 1pm at Redmond Funeral Home, Kalamazoo where services will follow at 1pm.
