Jean Charmaine Goricki-Kelly

Jean Charmaine Goricki-Kelly of Kalamazoo, passed away November 17, 2017 at Bickford of Portage. Jean was born May 28, 1928 in Chicago, IL the daughter of Raymond and Florence (Engel) Kingsbury. She Graduated from Comstock High School and retired as a nurse at Borgess Hospital. Jean was member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and enjoyed camping with her grandchildren, traveling especially out west, crocheting, knitting and scrapbooking newspaper articles. On June 6, 1953 in Angola, Jean was united in marriage to John Goricki who preceded her in death on May 29, 2000. Also preceding her is a son George Goricki in 1999. On February 4, 2006 in Kalamazoo Jean was united in marriage to Kenneth Kelly who survives. Also surviving are a daughter Joan (Robert)  Goricki-Cook of Kalamazoo; three grandchildren, John Bragg, Ben Bragg, Ashley (Brian) Powell all of Kalamazoo; five great-grandchildren; half-sister, Karen (Carson) Cisco of Blue Creek, OH; sister-in-law, Evelyn Goricki-Munther of Kalamazoo; one niece & six nephews. Friends will be received 2-4 & 6-8 pm Monday, Nov. 20, 2017 at Parchment Redmond Funeral Home, 2300 East "G" Ave. Parchment, MI 49004 (269) 349-7735 where a Rosary will be recited at 7:30 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 am Tuesday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Kalamazoo. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
