Ilene Carley

Ilene Carley, 90 of Portage passed away Saturday March 20, 2021 at Upjohn Community Care Center. Ilene was born April 20, 1930 in Kalamazoo the daughter of Earl and Henrietta (Maring) Colvin. She retired from Green Bay Packaging Co. and was a member of Portage Senior Center. Ilene had enjoyed volleyball, playing pool, Euchre and building bird houses. On November 1947 in Kalamazoo Ilene was united in marriage to William Lee Carley, Sr. who preceded her in death on January 26, 2006. Surviving are two children, William Carley, Jr. and Mary Jane (Greg) Mitchell; granddaughter, Amanda; two great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park.
