Herman T. Trice

Herman T. Trice, 68, of Kalamazoo, passed away Saturday, January 18, 2025 at his home. Herman was born January 17, 1957, in Kalamazoo, the son of Herman E. and Marion M. (Peak) Trice. He was a 1975 graduate of Loy Norrix High School. After graduation, Herman became employed at Murco Foods (later JBS Foods) in Plainwell. He worked his way up to the position of Supervisor and retired from JBS in 2006.

In 1995, Herman was united in marriage to the former Vanessa Morton, who survives. Also surviving are 10 children: Roslynn R. (Marion) Mann, Herman L. Trice, Maria A. Morgan, Quentin D. Trice, Raymond B. Haynes, Anthony R. Trice, Neaskish N. Morton, Makayla L. Morton, Amayiah N. Morton and Mai’er M. Trice; 21 grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren; and one sister, Marion M. (Charles) Newton. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman E. Trice and Marion M. Peak, and three siblings, Dwight L. Trice, Naomi Trice and Harold Trice.
