Douglas K. Commissaris

Passed away Jan. 24, 2020. Douglas was born in Kalamazoo on December 7, 1952, the son of George and Erma (Mack) Commissaris. He was a Supervisor for the Grand Rapids Buiding Services being based in Parchment Public Schools. Surviving beside his mother Erma are his children: Stephanie (Aaron) Baldwin of Las Vega, NV, Christine (Shane) Huempfner of Chester, SD, Matthew Commissaris of Kalamazoo and Stacy Commissaris of Salisbury, MD, 12 grandchildren, a great-grandson, siblings: Karen Lawrence of Midland, Mi and Dennis (Benna) Commissaris of Lawton, a niece, and 2 nephews. Friends will be received Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2020 from 11 until service time at 12 noon at Redmond Funeral Home. Memorial may be made to the Parchment Athletic Boosters.
