David Duane Price

David Duane Price 73 of Kalamazoo passed away Friday February 16, 2024. David was born June 7, 1950 in Kalamazoo to his parents James and Marilyn (Paffhousen) Price. He retired as a custodian for Parchment Public School and was the assistant fire chief for Cooper Township Fire Dept. He enjoyed working on cars, the outdoors and spending time with his grandchildren. On February 14, 1970 in Kalamazoo David was united in marriage to the former Terri Horrocks who survives. Also surviving are a daughter Tina (Gary) Howard; three grandchildren, Jeremy Howard, Nick (Stevie) Howard, Kelsey (Michael) LaGrow; six great-grandchildren, Evianna, Emmaleigh, Axel, Oaklee, Owen, Arlo; two sisters, Cherilyn Price, Gloria Lasiter; brother, Dennis Price; several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son Jeffrey Price. A memorial gathering will be held March 8, 2024 from 2pm-5pm at Cooper Township Fire Station #2, 3160 McKinley St. Kalamazoo, MI 49004. A graveside service will be held at a later date at West Cooper Cemetery.   Arrangements by Parchment Redmond Funeral Home.
