David Allen Gates

David Allen Gates 48 of Galesburg passed away Monday October 23, 2023 after injuries suffered in an accident. David was born September 18, 1975 in Kalamazoo the son of Michael and Dorothy (Gentry) Gates. He was a 1994 graduate of Galesburg-Augusta High School and worked as a landscaper and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Surviving are two children, Charlie and Devin Gates; two brothers, Robert (Katie) Gates, Gary (Michelle) Kamrowski; sister, Trish (Jeremiah) Fick; mother, Judy (Keith) Zerba; maternal grandmother, Rita Sparks. He was preceded in death by parents, Michael and Dorothy Gates; adopted father, Gary Kamrowski; brother, Mike Gates. A celebration of David’s life will be held 1-5 pm Saturday November 4, 2023 at The Dock at Bay View, 1204 East D Ave. Richland, MI 49083.
