Connye Kay Zeller-Amtower

Connye K. Zeller-Amtower of Portage, passed away Monday, March 9, 2020 at Rose Arbor Hospice. Connye was born October 29, 1950 in Frankfort, MI the daughter of George and Kay (Gaines) Pilz. She was a graduate of Central Michigan University and retired as a Disability Determination Specialist for the State of Michigan. Connye was a member of Portage Chapel Hill United Methodist Church where she was active in the United Methodist Women and Meals on Wheels through Senior Services. On May 14, 1994 in Kalamazoo Connye was united in marriage to David Amtower who survives. Also surviving are sister, Tamara (Ed) Lundborg; two step-brothers; three step-sisters. A memorial service will be held at a later date at Portage Chapel Hill United Methodist Church. Interment will be in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery.
