Charles Russell Jones

Charles Russell Jones 75 of Battle Creek passed away Saturday July 1, 2023 at Bronson Hospital Battle Creek. Charlie was born June 27, 1948 in Detroit the son of Norman and Eula (Pettit) Jones. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Vietnam War and retired from ITT Automotive in Oscoda, MI. Charlie enjoyed Gardening, mechanics, fishing and hunting. On September 24, 1971 in Detroit Charlie was united in marriage to Sandra (Hudson) Jones who survives. Also surviving are two children, Jodi (Michael) Moody, Jason (Melissa) Jones; sister, Norma Olsen; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two nieces. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Melvin and Harold Jones; and a nephew. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
