Betty Eva Essar

Betty Eva Essar of Cooper Township passed away Monday February 28, 2022 at Grace Valley Assisted living. Betty was born March 1, 1930 in Cooper Township the daughter of James and Olive (Richie) O’Meara. She was a member of the Parchment community and enjoyed playing piano, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. On May 20, 1950 in Cooper Township Betty was united in marriage to Robert Essar who preceded her in death on October 1, 2009. She was also preceded in death by three brothers and a sister. Surviving are two sons, Robert (Luann) Essar, James (Janice) Essar; sister, Sis (Ken) Belson; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several nieces & nephews. Graveside services will be held 1:30 pm Friday March 4, 2022 at East Cooper Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Centrica Care Navigators. www.redmondfuneralhomes.net
