Albert L. Campbell

Albert L. Campbell 76 of Kalamazoo, passed away Friday October 30, 2020 at home. Albert was born August 13, 1944 in Kalamazoo the son of Paul and Florence (Conklin) Campbell. He was a mechanic for 10 years and then retired as a driver after 27 ½ years for Stewart-Sutherland Trucking and then 10 years for TLC-Rider. Albert enjoyed bingo, traveling, deer hunting, fishing and lawn work. On January 16, 1965 in Kalamazoo Albert was united in marriage to the former Anita Tyler who survives. Also surviving are two children, Suzette (Dan) Widger of Kalamazoo, Jack (Mishelle) Campbell of Battle Creek; five grandchildren, Albert, Zachary, Maranda, Bonscott, LeRoy; three step-grandchildren, Esteban, Mackenzie, Makayla; four great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; four brothers, Robert (Glenda) Campbell of Kalamazoo, Larry Campbell of Galesburg, Russell Campbell of Comstock, Stanley (Karen) Campbell of Comstock; several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Dermont Campbell. Friends will be received 12-1 pm Thursday November 5, 2020 at Parchment Redmond Funeral Home where services will follow at 1 pm. Interment will be in East Cooper Cemetery.
