Loyd Eugene Stinnett

Loyd went home March 30, 2017.  He was born in Stratford, OK on October 27, 1940 the son of Croil and Estella (Etchieson) Stinnett. Loyd was a minister for the Churches of Christ. He was a volunteer at the Kalamazoo Gospel Mission. He was preceded in death by siblings: J.C. and Royal Stinnett, and Ethel Payne. Loyd is survived by his wife Pat whom he married November 3, 1962, 2 children: Paul & Lorene Stinnett of Kalamazoo and Lana & Tim Blakemore of Normal, IL; 6 grandchildren: Tara & Steve Kemp, Shane & Crystal Stinnett, Caleb & Allyson Stinnett, Jalen Stinnett, Alec Garcia, Andy Garcia; 3 great-grandchildren; siblings Leola Shackelford, Clara Harris, Clarice Pennington and Croyal Stinnett; several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be Sunday April 2, 2017 at 3pm at Oakland Dr. Christian Church, 7331 Oakland Dr., Portage.  Memorials may be made to Kalamazoo Gospel Mission and sent to: Redmond Funeral Home, 4100 S.
