Mary Evelyn Chadderdon

Mary E. Chadderdon of Kalamazoo, passed away Sunday February 12, 2016 at home. Mary was born October 6, 1928 in Indianapolis, IN the daughter of Rush and Doris (McKibbon) Saunders. She was a member and active worker at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Parchment and she enjoyed baking cakes. She was united in marriage on Sept. 20, 1950 to James R. Chadderdon who preceded her in death on Oct. 19, 2005. Also preceding her was a son Leo Chadderdon; sister, Norma Althaus; grandson, Raymond; daughter – in-law, Shirley Chadderdon. Surviving are her three children, Paul Chadderdon of Barry Twp.; Duane Chadderdon of Kalamazoo; daughter, Beverly Chadderdon of Kalamazoo; two grandchildren, Ann (Jon) Swinehart, Janet (Ryan) Romyak; six great-grandchildren, Jacob, James, Chad, Kyle, Matthew, Sara; nephew Steve Althaus; niece, Romayne Althaus. Friends will be received 5-8 pm Wednesday Feb. 15, 2017 at Parchment Redmond Funeral Home, 2300 East "G" Ave. Parchment, MI 49004 (269) 349-7735 where a Rosary will be recited at 7:30 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 am Thursday at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Parchment. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
