Franilyn J. Pavlack Passed away December 27, 2016 surrounded by her family at Kairos Dwelling. Fran was born in Kalamazoo on November 23, 1933 the daughter of Willard M. and Mabel E. (Miller) Cooley. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse. She went to a one room country school for grade school and graduated from Michigan State High in 1951 then Western and Nursing School and became an LPN. Fran loved reading about WW2, and the Civil War which became her hobby. She belonged to the First Congregational Church all her life and served as a deacon several times. Fran loved her children and grandchildren. She only wished she could have spent more time with them. She belonged to the Red Hat Society and loved it. Fran was the other half of the “Bag Lady Strippers” with her good friend Mary Taylor, and had fun doing it. She loved to crochet baby blankets for Borgess Medical Center and was the happiest in her rose garden. She loved a party and usually the last to leave. If Fran heard a good joke she was happy. She liked people. Fran was preceded in death by her husband: Robert C. Pavlack on February 22, 2016 and brother: Thomas Cooley. She is survived by her children: Randy of Cincinnati, Tom & Darcy of Otsego, Rick & Lori Ann of Howell, Bob of Kalamazoo, Ron & Kim of Plainwell and Kim & Joe Sikkema of Augusta, 12 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild. Friends will be received at Parchment Redmond Funeral Home Tuesday January 3, 2017 from 4 until 7pm. There will be visitation at First Congregational Church Wednesday January 4, 2017 from 10am until service time at 11am, Rev. Nathan Dannison officiating. Interment will be Ft.
