Sylvester Dido

Sylvester Dido of Westland formerly of Kalamazoo passed away Saturday November 5, 2016 at Four Seasons Nursing Home, Westland. Sylvester was born December 31, 1921 in Detroit the son of Frank and Dorothy (Brzezinski) Dido. He was a WWII veteran serving in the U.S. Army and received two Bronze Battle Stars in the battles of New Guinea and Luzon. Sylvester was a member of St. Monica Catholic Church in Kalamazoo. Surviving is his wife the former Iva Wood; and his son Dennis Dido. A memorial mass will be celebrated at a later date. Interment will be in Ft. Custer National Cemetery.
