Frances E Williamson

Frances E. Williamson of Kalamazoo, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday June 12, 2016 at home. Frances was born February 20, 1926 in Kalamazoo, MI the daughter of Joseph and Anna (Hatrick) Sklebeck. After retiring from Allied Paper Co. she greatly enjoyed spending time with her husband Jim, the love of her life. She also was an avid gardener and enjoyed sewing and knitting. Her cooking was legendary and she loved to entertain and provide gifts of food to everyone she knew. On June 27, 1947 in Kalamazoo Frances was united in marriage to James Williamson who preceded her in death on March 12, 2008. Also preceding her in death were two brothers; Michael Bailey, Edward Sklebeck and two sisters; Margaret Lasecki, Mary Potts. She will be greatly missed by her son, Scott (Cindy) Williamson of Caledonia; four granddaughters, Katie Williamson, Melissa (Jeff) Stroud, Kristin (Aaron) Hupp and Jami Williamson; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; a sister, Helen Sponnable; many nieces & nephews. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation. A time of remembrance and fellowship is being planned for Sunday July 24 at Country Acres Village in Kalamazoo, details to be announced.
