James Francis "Frank" Boran

Frank Boran of Kalamazoo passed away peacefully April 15th, 2016 at age 89 surrounded by his family. Frank was born in Castlecomer, Co. Kilkenny, Ireland, the youngest child of Margret (Darcy) and Peter Boran. He was united in marriage to Sorca (Sarah) Gaffney in 1958 and has been a Kalamazoo resident since 1962. Frank is survived by his wife of 57 years, their six children - Diarmuid Boran, Nuala (Charles) Wilmanski, Maeve Boran (fiancé Tom Haupert), Maura (Greg) Mahr, Colm (Linda) Boran, Canice (Lisa) Boran, nine grandchildren, one brother Fr. Peter Boran, Dublin, Ireland, many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, six sisters, and six brothers.
