Charles Arthur Hollanbaugh

Charles A. Hollanbaugh of Galesburg passed away Wednesday December 23, 2015 at home. Charles was born July 17, 1927 in Vinton, OH the son of William and Daisy (Russell) Hollanbaugh. He was a WWII veteran serving in the Army Air Corps. Charles retired as a foreman from Southerland/Brown Co. He attended Center Street Baptist Church and enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing, playing guitar and coaching Little League. On November 14, 1947 in Kalamazoo Charles was united in marriage to the former Liby Ford who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Susan (Joseph) Kirkbride, Patti Hunderman; son, Gary (Julie) Hollanbaugh; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother Clarence Hollanbaugh; two sisters, Freda Knotts, Marie Mollahan; two grandchildren, Jeffrey and Carrie. Private family services were held at Redmond Funeral Home, Kalamazoo. Interment was in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Reverence Hospice.
