Sr. Mary Louise Maertens, CSJ Passed away November 5, 2015 at Borgess Gardens. Sister was born May 3, 1923 in Detroit the daughter of Leon and Jeanine (VanOost) Maertens and she was a member of the Congregation of St. Joseph. Surviving are a niece Melissa Maertens Kerr; nephew, John Maertens; cousin, Henry VanHoost; and the congregation of Sisters of St. Joseph. She was preceded in death by a sister Dorothy J. Sullivan; brother, John Maertens. Friends will be received at Nazareth Center Sunday after 4 pm. A vigil service will be held Sunday 7 pm in Holy Family Chapel where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday 10:30 am. Interment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
