Allen Joseph Bis

Passed away Friday October 30, 2015 at home. Allen was born July 22, 1956 in Kalamazoo the son of John and Jane (Plocia) Bis. He attended St. Joseph School and graduated from Hackett Catholic Central. Allen retired from Midwest Electric, he enjoyed hunting, mountain climbing, the outdoors and was a former board member of the Kalamazoo Rod & Gun Club. Surviving are his mother, Jane Bis of Kalamazoo; sister-in-law, Francine Bis of Littleton, CO; a niece and nephew; two great-nieces and a great nephew; and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother John Bis, Jr. Friends will be received Tuesday 5-8 pm Nov. 3, 2015 at Redmond Funeral Home, 4100 S. Westnedge Ave. Kalamazoo, MI 49008 (269) 343-6156 where a Rosary will be recited at 7:30 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday 10:30 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
