David R. Ripley

David R. Ripley of Marshall, passed away June 11, 2015. David was born in Kalamazoo on May 23, 1965, the son of Robert and Jane (Rowley) Ripley. He was a Finance Manager and Purchaser at Borgman Ford. He attended mass at St. Philip Roman Catholic Church. David loved his kids, was an avid car collector, and enjoyed music. He was preceded in death by his brother, Terry, on Feb. 20, 1993 and his father, Robert, on July 19, 2013. David is survived by his two children: Emily and James of Marshall; Siblings: Thomas Ripley of Richland; Molly Ripley of Omaha, NE; Amy & Fred Herman of Greenville SC; Betsy & Jack Gesmundo of Richland; in addition to several nieces & nephews. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 1 pm Satuday, June 20, 2015 at St. Augustine Cathedral. Inurnment of cremains will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the “Trust Account FBO Emily and James Ripley” at FirstNational Bank, Attn: Mary Hoag, 2700 W. Centre, Portage, MI 49024. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kairos Dwelling. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to those at Kairos for their dedication and for fulfilling David’s wishes.
