Rudolph Paul Wolchina, Jr.

Rudolph P. Wolchina, Jr. of Mattawan, passed away Wednesday May 27, 2015 at Rose Arbor Hospice. Rudy was born Sept. 26, 1934 in Chicago the son of Rudolph and Amelia (Balogh) Wolchina. He graduated from K-College and retired from Performance (Allied) Paper Co. Rudy was an accomplished woodworker and an avid gardener. Surviving are several nieces & nephews, great-nieces & nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister Amelia T. James and an aunt Ann Vidosics. Friends are being received 5-8 pm Monday, June 1, 2015 at Redmond Funeral Home, 4100 S. Westnedge Ave. Kalamazoo, MI 49008 (269) 343-6156. Funeral services will be held 11 am Tuesday at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church. Interment will be in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery.
