Victoria "Vickee" Miller

Passed away on May 17, 2015 at Borgess Gardens. Vickee was born March 12, 1932 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Antoni & Mary (Chodacznik) Socha. She graduated from Kalamazoo Central High School in January of 1950. Vickee was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. She loved to play bingo and cards, go bowling, polka dance, and play the slots at the casino. On September 15, 1956 Vickee was united in marriage to her husband, Ted Miller, who survives her. She is also survived by her son, Paul Miller of Kalamazoo; three daughters, Stephanie (Joseph) Oram of Kalamazoo, Julie (Ryan) LaBudda of Plainwell, and Pamela (Todd) Novak of Hickory Corners; sister, Stella Delach of Kalamazoo; brother, Stanley (Cathie) Socha of Kalamazoo; Seven grandchildren, Angela (Max) Vandette, Danielle, Calvin, Christina (Joe) Sampietro, Owen, Tanner, and Sophie; great-granddaughter, Harper June; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received on Wednesday, May 20 from 4-8 PM, at Parchment Redmond Funeral Home, where a rosary will be said at 7 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, May 21 at 10 AM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Kalamazoo, Rev. Fr. David Grondz, celebrant. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
